This season shrug off your sleeves and bare your shoulders- this new trend is showing off a little skin! Off-the-shoulder silhouettes are everywhere from the work place to a night with friends. I have some of my favourite looks to keep you covered in all the right ways that you won’t be able to resist.

Bodysuit
Step up your bodysuit game with a little shoulder show! The thing I love about off-the-shoulder bodysuits is that they can be completely universal when it comes to pairing with other pieces. This black Silence Noise suit from Urban Outfitters looks casual, edgy and trendy with a pair of denim shorts. By simply changing out the denim for a midi skirt and TA-DAH… You now have a chic and sleek look for a night out on the town. Don’t be afraid to wear every type of bottom you have with a shouldering bare bodysuit, and accessorise with some bangles and a pair of RayBan sunglasses for those summer days out!

Strappy Top
Fashionistas need to get their hands on an off-the-shoulder top with straps. I love the way this periwinkle Top Shop top has a minimalistic look to it. The single thin straps with the flowing shoulder piece create a flirty feminine look. Once again, I love how versatile this top can be.  Go with a pair of Top Shop denim and wedges to complete a casual vibe or you can turn it all around with a tea length skirt for a sophisticated chic style- mix and match this top with an infinite amount of bottoms. Not to mention, this colour falls into the pantone colours of the year.

Crop Top
Speaking of tops, you can never go wrong with an off-the-shoulder crop top! Just like the others, this white lace crop top from Nasty Gal can be worn with just about anything and I am in love with it when worn with high waist J Brand jeans. The flare bottom denim makes this top look straight out of the 70’s but in modern day. Who wouldn’t want to put a new take on old school style?

Romper
Put a slight bare spin onto a favourite with off-the-shoulder rompers. They are simple yet very fashion forward. Actress and model Karrueche Tran rocks this trend with a night out in the Rust Bardot Crinkle Playsuit. It is simple enough to throw on gold heels for a dressy approach or a pair of flat sandals for casual day wear. I can go either way, fancy or laid back with off-the-shoulder rompers… Once again versatility in one piece has my vote!

Floral

Play up classic floral prints with a little shoulder action.  I am head over heels for this Asos midi dress. The floral organza pattern in white and black is elegant and stunning without overdoing it. The sheer details make this look even more feminine with showing a touch of skin. Paired with black strap heeled sandals also from Asos, this is at the top of my list for ways to wear off the shoulder.

If you are still looking for a new hot trend to try this season… I promise that you can never go wrong with a little shoulder action!
